First VHF SS ever and I really had fun. Made about half the QSOs on CW.
Antenna is an old 5el at 20' but it overlooks a 20' drop-off going east. I did
not change the antenna direction all weekend. Don't think I missed too many by
having my antenna in the wrong direction. Rig is a K3. Guess I need a preamp
for it if I'm going to do much 6m, right?
very nice of Mother Nature to provide nice conditions for a contest weekend.
