Comments:
Well, after the last 6 months of station-building, that was fun to finally
participate in a full-length contest from home. Too bad propagation was not
better. This was SO2R mostly dual radio pouncing and some dualing CQ's - not
really possible to run from here, especially at Low Power. Could not even get
a single W6 in the log on 80-meters - ugh. About 15 additional multipliers
heard but not worked on 40, 80 and 160 which would have made the total 200.
Still have a few odds and ends to finish up (Six Pak re-cabling and still need
to fix the Alpha 78), but all in all the station played fairly well today. So
bring on Sweepstakes and Unlimited Class with the amplifiers, baby!
Nice to work so many NCCC Sprint pals, and congrats to the PVRC gang for
motivating on short notice to form 3 full NAQP CW teams!
