Didn't plan to operate this one so no NCCC team signup. Had half a night's
sleep and was going back to bed but decided to get on for a while at 1800z.
Started to fall asleep in the 2nd hour. Ingested Diet Coke, Starbucks
Frappuccinos, Dove Dark Mile Chocolate, and other junk to keep going.
Was going to pull the plug after 3 hours, but you know how it is when a
Contesting addiction grabs hold :^)
Less Q's than last year but more mults. Still 2 years behind getting all this
aluminum out of the driveway and installed at the remote station. That should
help improve the signal and score when it finally happens.
Apologies to W6YI - in a tired moment, I pushed several wrong F-keys and the
result was Ultimate Locust QLF CW in Jim's face, Sorry, OM ;-(
The bands were very noisy here. Very surprised to work East of the Rockies on
80m !!!
73 & Tnx for the Q's and Mults...
Rick, K6VVA * The Locust
