Comments:
Didn't think I'd get on at all - didn't return from Pennsylvania until after the
start and noticed the Coronal Mass Ejection (or maybe just a Thursday night
storm that blew through) had taken down one end of my wires. Got out the
slingshot, fishing reel and ropes, battled the sparrow-sized mosquitoes and got
it back up in time to take advantage of some short skip and spotlight
propagation on 10 and 15. I seemed to have a pipeline to LA and MS.
Got on a bit around midnight - local storms meant 80 and 40 were noisy, but
signals were booming. Fun to work VP9 and V31 midst the QRN.
