Comments:
PREVIOUS FAMILY AND BERRYVILLE HAMFEST TRANSPORTATION COMMITMENTS LIMITED MY
OPERATING TIME. ATMOSPHERIC NOISE WAS HIGH WITH STORMS IN THE AREA THROUGHOUT
MY HOURS OF OPERATRED, SO THE GOING WAS TOUGH. MY BEVERAGE RX ANTENNAS WERE A
MUST TO HEAR ANYTHING ON 40 AND 80 METERS. I PLAN TO INSTALL A LOWER 40 METER
YAGI AND STACKED TRI-BANDERS ON THE MAIN TOWER LATER THIS FALL. I SURE WISHED I
HAD THEM DURING THIS CONTEST. FOR 100 WATTS DURING THE SUMMER WAS/IS VERY
MARGINAL AT BEST WITH MY CURRENT ANTENNAS. DESPITE THE LINITED OPERATING TIME
AND POOR CONDITIONS, IT WAS FUN AND THANKS TO ALL WHO CALLED. BILL, KC4D
