I was asked to join a team but I really didn't think I would be on, so I
declined. I sincerely apologize to them, I could have helped. All I have for an
antenna at the moment is a 20 Meter loop fed with nearly 300 feet of window
line, so I fed it as a random wire on 40 and 80. All that feedline so close to
the ground made a pretty quiet receiving antenna. Decided I'd better run my
little baby amp so somebody would hear me. Managed to run about 250 watts
without blowing anything up. Kind of ironic that my lowest contact total was on
the band on which the antenna is resonant. I hope to get better wires up in the
trees as soon as the leaves fall. My only Connecticut Q was W1WEF and only
Wisconsin Q was N9CK.
