Comments:
I put my linear loaded (Cobra design) dipole back up. 3 conductor Romex each
leg 82 feet long. Approximatetly 100 feet of 450 ohm ladder line to a 4:1 dual
core balun and 30 feet of RG-213 from the balun to a Palstar AT5K transmatch.
Rig: FT-1000D Amp: AL-1200 running 500 watts so as not to burn up the dipole as
has happened in past operations running full boat. I was delightfully surprised
to work California, Oregon, and Washington state although have worked them in
the past. Just didn't hear Arizona, Alaska, or Hawaii..the only three states I
now need for WAS on 160m. Thanks Utah and North Dakota I just hope you guys log
to LoTW.
