We had some beautiful weather in Edmonton this weekend and alternated between
the backyard (mostly) and the shack. Decided to play with my FLEX1500 and it
was a lot of fun running between 3 and 4 watts to my 3 el SteppIR. Considering
the price the receiver played pretty well in a crowded band with lots of very
strong signals. Condx on 15m seemed quite good up here. Really strong signals
from Eu from Saturday morning 1600z right through to 0500z when I went to
sleep. Sunday the band opened earlier but signals did not seem as strong but
still quite decent. Excellent signals from Japan in the morning and in the
afternoon/evening.
