I was single op assisted with RBN. Hope the Contest Committee will consider an
Assisted Category.
Good condx to WI/MN/Lake Superior, Portland/Seattle, high DownEast (ME) and
WD0T.
Sure miss mountain topping. Used the 80 meter vertical (-10 db), 200 ft of
coax (-3 db?) and a 3.1 SWR (another -3 db) with the K3 at 100 watts. Very bad
internal noise on the K3 when tuning made CW very difficult. I never heard or
worked California or the Southwest. Should be some big scores from the
northern tier of states.
