Comments:
Great weekend and a lot of fun!
I was way behind last years score after day 1, but things really picked up on
day 2. 20 meters exploded around 9-10z and the higher bands opened a bit later
but never got any good runs on 10 meters. Had great fun following the progress
on cqcontest.ru. I mostly battled with OH8X and we changed position several
times, but I also had an eye on OH0X, SJ2W, ES5TV from my region, plus CR2X.
On Sunday night I had a couple of moments when the keyboard made no sense to
me, while the solution was simple, press "Enter". Guess that happens, not only
to me, once in a while when doing 48 hours straight.
Tried my new headphones in this contest and they were fantastic(Thanks Toni
OH2UA for the tip). We have a lot of fan noise from the amps, but with the new
Bose QC-15 headphones it is all gone.
New LA record this year despite the relative poor condx on day 1.
