Comments:
A good time was had by all.
Plenty of ops, plenty of sleep, plenty of food, plenty of drink and plenty of
propagation.
Late in the weeks, LOTS of ugly problems cropped up. Most were taken care of
and the couple that were left, were not too bad.
Friday afternoon, I discovered a S/N problem that would have killed the whole
weekend for us. The crew at N1MM solved it and had a new version out in about
an hour and a half. Big thanks to them!
Condx on all but 10, were good from here, with 15 having real good propagation
to JA both evenings. We worked 10 pretty hard and did make a respectable
number of Q's on that band, after all.
Work I had done to some of the Beverages seemed to have paid off. I didn't
really have enough time before the contest to make a determination. Thanks to
'Professor' N4DJ for the help getting them working.
Had many ops, but several had limited RTTY, or any mode, experience before.
They ALL had a good time. Some wound up 'grinning like fools', when they got
up from the radio. It's always good to have fun.
Great to work old friends and familiar calls.
Thanks to everyone for the contacts, and the courteous operating.
73 de Steve, NR4M and the whole Goat Farm RTTY crew.
