Comments:
Ran new used ALS-600S amp driven by K3. Antenna was a dipole at 80 feet. SWR
on the dipole was a bit high and caused the amp to shut down several times
leaving me at about 40W from the K3. Friday night was a blast with 780 QSOs in
the first five hours. As always, it's downhill from there - even knocked off
for a nap in the wee hours of Sunday morning. A surprise flurry of activity
during the last two hours sent rate back up over 100/hr. Where was DC?!
Missed it, the three NT sections and LB for the sweep. Shared station and
antenna with C6ASP (W6KW) who entered SB15. He probably relinquished more of
his prime time than I did though.
