This was supposed to be a single band 15m entry, I ran from the start of the
contest until the band closed and then started again at 06:47 on Sunday
morning. At 07:00 the 15m element of my Hexbeam broke (need to sort the
insulators out between the element and the spacer cord) and so I switched to
20m. However my heart wasn't really in it so I worked there for 45 minutes and
then stopped.
This was a shame, I was looking forward to this contest and a single band entry
but it wasn't to be. I know I wasn't competitive in a multi-band entry which
was why I stopped when I did.
