Comments:
Didn't plan op'ing this contest this weekend, but decided to hang in there for a
few hours after I started on Saturday morning. The QTC's are fun. Didn't put
in the full time for SO.
10m never opened to Eu here and low bands were fairly noisy this time of year.
15m opened over the pole but most Eu did not need that path from here. 40m was
excellent in the early morning at Eu sunrise. 20m was decent but band was
noisier than 15m. Got a few calls from non-Eu DX like VU2's, 9M2, and VK on
long path. So nice to know bands were open there too. Usually don't operate
this phone contest but enjoyed it despite less than stellar conditions.
