Comments:
I had hoped to try SO2R for the first time, but had too little time before the
contest to get everything working. This was my first time operating from LN8W,
so everything was new to me. So the start was a little late, I had to throw in
a spare rig to get started, and run manual antenna switching. I don't think the
result suffers too much, I just felt uncomfortable the first 10 hours.
I spent an hour during the slow periode mid-night, and got most of the
equipment up, but still only 1R.
The conditions were fair, but missed 10m. There was a periode with short skip
to Europe, but also heavy QRM all over the band, making any operation
impossible.
It was fun to follow the battle on livescore, this gives an extra dimension to
the event.
Always nice to run SAC from Scandinavia. Even with low power there is sometimes
a feeling of being attractive..
Thanks to the Wiskey team for using the station.

Svein, LA3BO
