Comments:

After a good CQ WW RTTY I hoped that this contest had some suprises for me. The
goal was 750 QSO's. Last year I ended with 676 QSO's.
The days before the contest showed me that the conditions were really good,
even on 10m, still the key for a good contest.

Normally I start a contest on 40m. I have a decent antenna for this band but
most of the time it is Always hard with 50w to start a contest on this band.
Because my dad (ON2WVD) made a dipole for 80m, I changed the plan and started
on 80m and how!! After 1 hour I had 60 QSO's, never did better! Beautifull
moment when VO1MP called me on 80m.
Then I went to 40m and it was a little bit struggling. Anyway I had a decent
run when K3LR spotted me (thank you!). I shows again the importance of a spot!

Normally when 80m and 40m is closing I go to the other bands, for me is this a
'hard' periode, antennas are not so good for the other bands.
I went soon to 10m and worked a lot of Russian stations, man they were loud! I
stayed the first day a little bit to long on this band, but yeah how many times
are the conditions so good?!
After that i went an hour to bed, the only hour I slept in the contest... Then
again running on 80m and 40m, again been spotted on 40m.
On saterday I mist the opening on 10m to Japan, this was a goal for sunday. A
lot of Japanese stations but I didn't managed to work one... No problem a lot
of other stations!
One of the moment of the contest was on 20m. I am still chasing my WAS, three
states are open for me. I heared KL7RA calling said my call and worked him. I
was so happy!!! I went back to 15m and worked late a lot of USA stations, they
al did a big effort, thanks!
On 40m it was hard to have a run, never found a clean spot to call CQ, so I did
S&P (worked China). On 80m it went OK and the 1000 QSO's were coming. Then
S40G putted me on the cluster and in no time 1000 QSO's were a fact. Thank you
guys!!
Satisfied I stopped with 1158 QSO's, best contest ever for me, even better dan
CQ WW RTTY. I doubled my score of last year!!
Now I know that my score 465.000 points is not that high. I have a lot of QSO's
on 80m, european contacts (a lot of DL). I am sure that the score could be
higher when I didn't have the band restrictions.
80m: 3600-3700
40m: 7000-7100 (not good to work USA)
20m: 14250-14350
15m: 21320-21450
10m: all band

Anyway thanks to all who worked me! Thanks to all who spotted me! And last but
not leat thanks to my parents for the support, still my biggest fans!!

Next goal WAE RTTY, again 1000 QSO's ;-)?!

73 ON3DI
