Comments:
FT1000MP, 100W, TH6DXX, dipole, inverted vee, tee vertical. Team: SECC#1. I
registered four full teams for SECC and got an acknowledgement for all four,
but they don't appear on the pull down menu. High band conditions were quite
good. Low band conditions were also pretty good. A thunderstorm front passed
here during the early part of the contest. Fortunately, we got only a lot of
rain out of it. But the QRN on 80 and 160 was quite bad. 40M went long early
and wasn't as useful after that. A fun contest with a lot of activity. Had one
failure during the contest. One position on my antenna switch went out and I
missed about five minutes wiring around it. Thanks for all contacts and I look
forward to the SSB event next weekend. 73, John, K4BAI.
