Comments:
We operated the first 24 hours only as part of a head to head duel with the boys
at KW7Y. Dan and Joe worked a handful of stations Saturday evening bringing the
total score up to 8.7M.
We were about 400 Q's off of our 2012 W7 record pace at 24 hours. The bands
didn't seem terrible here, but certainly not 100%. I hear day 2 was better.
This was mostly a way to get on the same page for The Big One in July and get
some loose ends tied up before our station test run during FD.
Thanks to KW7Y (K7RL and KL2A) for providing the motivation to push hard. Also
a great job by the other "local" west coast M/2 of KQ7W. Seems there
was some great M/2 activity out of the entire W6/7 area!
