15 meters was up and down here. At times it felt like the band was dead and
then all of a sudden loud JA, EU, and US would be calling at the same time. 20
meters made up for 15 and it was hard to pull away from the great rates on 20 to
QSY to 40.
The local ham population was well represented during the contest with Randy,
ZF1ZZ and John, ZF1DJ calling in to hand out the mult on all bands. They were
my only contacts on 10 and 160. Thanks to Andrew, ZF1EJ for the use of the
station.
Lots of successful moves, especially to 80 meters. Favorite name from the
contest was Zorro.
