No complaints here -- the bands were mostly in great shape, antennas played
nicely, and I had a good night's sleep Saturday night.

Set out to beat my previous best from 2012, and managed that by a wide margin.
Surprising how equal the three high bands were here; usually 20M or 15M rises
above the others, but this weekend it was hard to choose where to spend my
time. Great problem to have -- but they won't be like that for much longer.

The only slight lowlight was 40M which didn't produce European contacts and
countries like it did in the past two years.

Fell about 100 Qs short of last year on 80M, but I also went to bed at 11 p.m
local (0700z) on Saturday night instead of working late on what seemed to be a
rather flat band. Might have had something to do with the US long weekend.
Still, Friday night was great on 80M -- was fun running JAs while it lasted.

Had many 100-plus hours, fought off a few frequency hijackings, and worked a
few rare countries (rare from BC, at least). I pushed quite hard during the
hours I was on, because solarmax only rolls around every so often -- I don't
know if we're past it yet, but things won't hold up for much longer. Must enjoy
it while we can.

I will remember this contest for a long time. Hope I get to play in a few more
like this one.
