Comments:
This was another 2-man operation from N6GEO.
George had things well tested out before the contest.
We ran a FLEX-3000 via a KPA-500 amplifier (dialed down to 145 watts).
For antennas we used a 2-element Stepp-IR and 6-BTV Vertical for the low
bands.
An attempt to hitch up a sloping Inverted Vee produced more QRN than the
vertical and was eventually abandoned during the contest.
With the exception of an occasional N1MM-caused delay during transmit, the
station worked quite well.
We worked most of the U.S. states except Delaware and missed most of the
obscure VE provinces - which leads us to wonder if they were even active.
