That was brutal! This is the first NAQP in which I took off time in the first
hour! 20 was so tough at the beginning that it took 1 hour and 23 minutes of
op time to reach a score of 1,000 points. My last two outings, in 2012 and
2013 averaged 100k score, and I was expecting something similar this time, but
didn't even reach half of that. If I hadn't been on a team, I would have
packed it in early and had a pleasant afternoon and evening. A reminder that
we enjoy the hobby at the sufference of the ionosphere.
