Comments:
First, many thanks to all the County DXpeditioners who signed up to put all 58
California Counties on the air this weekend for the 50th running of the
California QSO Party.
It seemed like the weather cooperated, but the conditions did not, with the
K-index at 3 or higher, most of the weekend.
Sunday morning was especially slow, but things picked up a bit with some brief
openings to the East Coast on 10 and 15. Many thanks to N2NL for convincing me
to QSY up to 10m when I though the band was totally dead.
Many thanks to VY1JA for the NT mult, and to all the other VEs who made my
sweep possible. Last mult worked was VT.
I tried a lot of Alternating CQs on two bands at once, which took some getting
used to, and messed up my timing a bit, but it seemed to work OK. I had some
frustrations with the DXLog.net software, but it worked much better than last
time.
I decided to do CW only again this year, mainly to simplify the switching and
tuning efforts.
