Soapbox : I am not sure why, but I just couldn't hear many stateside stations.
I did not work any of the 8's, only IL from the 9's and MD from the 3's and
NY from the 2's. I had <S1 Noise level and worked most of what I could hear.
Well, I have been through 5 Sunspot cycles and am afraid we are just getting a
preview of what this low will be like. Back in the day I can remember going
weeks without hearing anything outside South America on 10 meters.
Conditions not withstanding, the contest was fun and challenging.
