Comments:
I was in and out of the shack, alternating radio with football, eating, and
family time, but I hit all the bands except 10m. I only really tried to run
once, and the cat took care of that. She tried to jump on my keyboard on the
second QSO, which I barely rescued, but she had climbed over the rig and
started knocking gear around. She knows what will get me out of my chair! I
had to catch her and throw her out, but by then, the frequency was lost.
On another note, my friends will recall that I just got rid of a nasty RFI
problem that made the radio very unpopular with my wife. My reputation around
the house greatly improved when the RFI ended. My status rose further on
Friday when I became a hero-nerd by fixing our microwave oven! But then today,
I went to 80 meters, and discovered that RF is now getting into the microwave.
Arrrgh!!!
