Comments:
I had a little time to play after fixing my 20M system and discovered the 160
SSB contest was going on so hacked around until it was time to go home. It
sure seemed nice and quiet but not exceptional good conditions. Still it was
fun to check of the antenna and beverages for a few minutes to make sure the
recent wind storms hadn't broken anything.
I noticed a really WIDE SSB station with 2 peaks about a KHz apart on my
spectrum screen. Everybody else just had one peak to their signal so maybe his
transmitter was having a problem. It sure seemed to clear the frequency for him
though.
