Comments:
Operated until 03Z Friday night (run was getting very slow) with a couple of
breaks, then a little more Saturday after SC QP which was my main focus of the
weekend. I worked only one station in 7 land (AZ), no NM,ND,SD, or CA, but a
few Caribbean were quite loud. Two DC called in a row, co-conspirators?
CR2X was spinning his wheels, good copy here with endless CQ's and not working
anyone in EU or NA! Also had S53O sharing my run frequency, but he was
obviously not hearing me at all (at least he was running some EU). I did work
all states east of the Mississippi and VE1,2,3,9,VY2. I had a decent rate going
around 24Z, worked about 60 in first 40 minutes (starting 2222 Z) vs. nearly a
200 hour about 10 years ago in first hour (started at 24Z I believe). The sun
does not set here until 23Z, not ideal for a 22Z start, but understand that is
quite late for EU. Operating all night would pretty well put me asleep, not a
real exciting contest, and you don't dare give up a decent run frequency.
I hope this helps PVRC effort and gave a few the WV mult who might have missed
it otherwise.
Thanks for the Q's and 73, Jeff
