Comments:
222: 5 W FM to a handheld 3-element yagi (thanks Jon, W0ZQ!).
432: 20 W SSB/CW to a 7-element Arrow yagi at ~12' (20' below roofline, lots of
trees around).
With the addition of a 222 handheld that I acquired at Dayton, I managed to get
a second band going. My station also had a new feedline: a
longer-than-necessary run of LMR-240 was replaced with a just-right run of
LMR-400.
There seemed to be some tropo ducting, and I heard W9ZIH in EN51, but had no
response. The only grids I ended up working were the local EN34/EN35. It was
fun in its own way, and good to post the best 222+ score I've had from home.
