SSB with soft voices or studio type microphones in contest QRM make for logging
mistakes, especially for those of us with hearing impairments. Standard
phonetics make correct copy of names much easier and faster. SLOW IS FAST...
TIM, Tango India Mike, doesn't take much time and avoids one or more requests
for name again?
