45 years after enjoying this contest as KH6RS, I still enjoy this event. Now,
however, CQing doesn't work for me ...
I still haven't figured when to work OC stations on 20m in early October.
Surprised by the 10m QSOs -- five bands with ZM2B. Puzzled by very weak KH6s on
40m amidst many good ZL and VK signals.
I filter skimmer spots to see only those from local skimmers. That keeps me
awake as I have to spin the big knob to find new stations that those skimmers
don't hear. It also keeps me from getting discouraged about not hearing spots
by far-away skimmers.
