Comments:
Contest start was 1300 ZL local time on Saturday, during the afternoon most
contacts were VK, JA and other Asian, apart from a few KH6 and a couple of AZ
state stns. Starting at around 0730UTC a few Eu stations appeared, which was
unexpected. Only worked 20 Eu stations, but the resulting 12 mults were
welcome. Last contact for the day was a EA at 2215 ZL local time.
Even with just 124 contacts in the first session, I thought that maybe a
350-400 QSO total was possible. The Sunday morning session resulted in 70 K/VE
contacts, then with the A index increasing to 16 the band suddenly closed at
2300utc (1200 ZL local) and that was it for the day folks, nothing further was
heard during the afternoon and evening.
The third and final session on Monday morning was very slow just 50 more K/VE
contacts.
