Well, my plan of attack was thwarted by very severe QRN Saturday night. I was
only able to operate for about an hour early in the contest but then had
several things demanding time/attention which took me away from the rig. I
thought, "Hey, no big deal...I'll get on for 4 or 5 of the last hours at
night." Only problem was when I did get back on static crashes were so
severe and the noise floor so high....I couldn't hear much at all. So, put in
about 1 more hour then pulled the plug. It was great to work a bunch of old
friends and cross paths with some new folks as well. Hope to be back on for a
little longer outing next time :)
