First time in CQ160 CW since 2013, great contest as always.
My congrats to LX7I, G5W, 9A5CW, OM7M... and others. But you guys say condx to
USA were poor and you wkd eg. "only" 200 W/VE's. Well here, on
similar setup I managed to work 96 W/VE's and it's actually the best result
from SP land...
As far as JA is concerned - much worse prop than we usually have here, only a
few stations on saturday and a bit better on sunday. Total: 46x JA and 1x HL in
the log..
Set up was: IC775 + IC765 in diversity receiving system, based on 8 Beverage's
(300-350m) available now for each RX independently. When working with NA's the
combination 270deg + 305deg Bev's is something really worth to experience.
TX antenna is a T-vertical with abt 80 radials on the ground 30/40m.
Best moments were being called by DX like VK2GR, VR2EH, HS0ZIA, YE1K, B1Z,
5H3EE and few others.
73's and TNX for all QSO's.
