Comments:
First contest from new QTH in Central TX. Building a house here. Set up the
station in the workshop. TS2000X and Mobile Ham Sticks on 20M & 40M and a
5' tall mobile screwdriver antenna on 80M. Manually changed antennas to change
bands. Used a magmount on the metal roof of the workshop.
Some RF issues, especially on 80M. Wiped out the laptop when transmitting on
80M - the antenna was right over the operating position! K5ZD sure has good
ears on 80M! The lashup seemed to work pretty well, though.
Thanks to all for the QSO's. Look forward to getting some real antennas up
once the house is completed. Hope to move in May and start putting up towers
this summer.
