Comments:
I planned to operate some on this contest to try to maintain a 20-20
participation. The contest being CW, I know my operation will be limited.
After the Roanoke Ham Fest in the morning, some chores around the house, and
spending time with the great grand child, I finally got into the ham room. I
made my first contact at 00:00 UTC. Not by design or intention, it just
happened that way. I stayed on 40 meters and put in a single band score. I
worked for 2:19 minutes, and was proud of the 27 contacts that I made. Called
it quits and went to bed. There is no way I can copy the cw speeds use in a
contest. But, I know my call and a "TU." Thanks for Fldigti giving
me the added help and confidence.
Had fun and felt good.
