Comments:
I set up my station in a neighbor's yard; a K3, N1MM, an inverted vee set for
20
hanging from a 12 meter Spiderpole. The antenna is adjustable, spooled wires,
so I had to QRX for the 40 meter QSY. The K3 tuner matched the wire on 80. 20
and 40 sounded pretty good and and I worked all call areas there. 80 was rather
noisy and the extent of my reach was TX and WA.
Mults heard and not worked were RI,WV, and VO1MP.
What a treat to sit outside at the picnic table on a lovely Southern California
day/evening and play radio. I also kept in mind those around North America who
are confronting nature's fury.
As usual, a very high skill level and a great four hours of radio contesting.
73,
David, N6AN
