Comments:
I would have had this in much earlier,
but when I saw 60 in the (state/prov) slot,
I panicked. Took time to go to my Audicity
recording and under all the QRN, did find
VO2LS with the NL section. Would not have
surprised me if He had given up on the contact,
considering how much trouble I had with the QRN.
Band was great early first night, but QRN
moved in and more than once I considered
going QRT.
Then I considered that at my age, ain't gona
have lot more opportunities to play this game.
The sunrise guys in Europe were great,
working me through the qrn.
Being 'Elderly', I never learned how to use all
the fancy stuff to justify 'assisted' contesting.
Everything in my log comes direct from my K3.
40 acres of beverages, dedicated 130ft 1/4 wave vertical,
amp on the low side of 1.5k out
Both nights are on Audicity.
I may need some technical help if anyone is interested.
