Sorry for all the muffed calls. Way too much lightning induced static crashes
Sat and Sunday. Storm finally hit for real 2 hours before the end and I dropped
the tower as the wind kicked up. Now getting heavy rain & thunder.
Great conditions. At least better than I was expecting. Not as good as last
year. Score is down noticeably, partly due to family arriving for visit Friday
an hour before the start. That limited time available for QRV.
Particularly nice was 80 meters. My persistant QRN was GONE !! And the vertical
seemed to work well rather than suck up all the signals in ground losses.
Probably due to the heavy rains recently.
The lack of 10 meters was sure noticeable. Managed to beat last year QSO total
despite only 30 Qs on 10. The big loss was the mults on 10.
