Comments:
This was a great contest as the propogation gods were aginst us from the start,
Then the weather gods put in all the QRN they could muster. Sandra had a house
full of grand kids. They were very curious as to what I was doing in a room with
the door shut!Every thing was a set up for failure but some how it woked out
just fine 20m
was fair for about 3 hours. when it began to fade i took my lunch break about 1
1/2 hr spent eating with the grand kids and the great grands also we had a lot
of fun. I returned to the contest just in time to work more twenty m the propo
to the west was just good enough to catch a few Jas which did not count much in
this event. I moved on to 40m and it was noisy but the Qs were there. later to
80 m but it was a strugle with the QRN I managed to turn the volume down and not
hear the mess on the fredquency. later to 80m and it was terrible as I picked up
many mults and Qs with my 4SqR array. All in a days work I was happy with the
outcome even thoun the upper bands were dead and there were many times the
crowed bands tried my soul. thanks to all the guys and gals that gave me many
rrepeats. Gary WA5FWC op KN5TX
