                    50 MHz Spring Sprint

Call: VE3CRU/R
Operator(s):
Station: VE3CRU/R

Class: Rover LP
QTH: FN03/04/13/14
Operating Time (hrs): 3.5

Summary:
Total: QSOs = 17 Mults = 11 Total Score = 187

Club: Rochester VHF Group

Comments:

This Sprint saw no prop. Starting in FN13ax, heard nothing but faint cw on .099
area from 2 deep in noise, no qso's. Moved to FN14ba and got 7 qso's in 3
grids. Doubled back to FN13 and got 2 qso's in 2 grids. A brief stop in FN03
enroute to FN04 got 2 qso's same grid. FN04vb saw 3 qso's in 3 grids. Last
stop FN03vx saw 3 qso's in 2 grids. Throat gave up at 10:30 so headed home.

Grids worked were FN13, FN04 and EN92, heard no others.

Thanks to KF2MR, NA2X, KD2LGX and WB2JYH in Rochester VHF Group, VE3IQZ and
VA3NW in Peterborough ARC and VE3ZV in CCO for all the qso's and patience under
such tough conditions. Thanks also to Central States for sponsoring and to all
who participated. Perseverence pays.

Equipment: Icom 756 ProIII to hamstick

73,

Bill VE3CRU/R
