Great to operate FD again after a 5-year absence. Bands were much better than
expected - 20m in particular, which produced a 10 hour run and 1,200+ QSO. 40m
was slow to open but eventually got going for about 4 hrs. Slept in very late
on Sunday but woke up to find a nice 10m surprise for the last 2 hrs before
tearing down to head home.
Equipment: IC-756P3, good headphones, laptop, homebrew SS amp, old car battery
& HD charger, TA33jr, 4-section push-up, 40m wire vertical, 5kw generator,
10 gallons of unleaded, and a 12-pk Diet Coke.
