Comments:
Only able to get on for last 4 hours but thankful for Rovers and two fixed
stations in the area. Nothing fantastic as far as distance; longest Qs were 46.8
km and I *tried* a 186.8 km path on 432 (with another rover!) and could hear
them but they could not pull me out of the noise.
The 5 Qs on 902 were completed with an FM HT using a Rubber Ducky antenna
(including one of the 46.8 km paths).
Thanks to all who were on and participated, especially to those nearby stations
who were able to pick my puny signals out of the noise. Thanks to ARRL for their
sponsorship of this event and the opportunity for me to be the author of the web
write-up for year 2 of the event.
