I hate - no something stronger - how about abhor? Just to be sure you get what
I mean... I LOATHE voice contesting. Especially when everything that could go
wrong - did.
My wire antennas went on the fritz, leaving me to to depend solely on my GAP
Challenger for 40 and 80 meters, severely cutting into my capability for local
(think PVRC Circle) contacts. Extreme QSB had just about every contact changing
from S9+ to S3. QRN from lightening static came at just the wrong times. My
Heil headset mic stopped working (I'm sure its just a bad connection at the
element, but haven't checked it out yet). So I had to use the OEM hand mic.
But - I promised a couple of hours, and that's what I gave. The 20 contacts I
worked were like having a root canal without any pain relief. So glad this is
over.
73 all... Gonna work on my wires this weekend...
