Comments:
Had a strange minor Murphy visit this time but all in all things worked
accordingly to plans.
Things started pretty slow as acknowledged by wife saying Friday night that it
seems like I wasn't talking much! Thing got better Saturday morning and it
helped 20 meters when 15 and then 10 opened nicely for this spot in a downward
sun spot cycle.
My main Murphy visit was (first time this has ever happened) my keyboard would
not let me use and "Ctrl or Alt" function after a few hours. The only
way to clear it was to reboot the computer. Which I must have done 15 times
during the weekend. So when this happened I could not do any SO2R and keep
track of logging on the correct bands. I did more hand logging then I have in
the past 20 years. I originally thought I could just manually switch the SO2R
box but the bands weren't correct in the log and I would have to manually edit
every Q. Anyone ever have this happen?
Freqs got a little bit contested on Sunday on 20 but all in all everyone was
cordial. Repeats were sure the order of the day.
Thanks to all who operated, travelled, etc. to make this the best SSB Contest of
the year.
