Fred, you're not the only one to have V51YJ call him. Was so surprised, I had
to have him repeat his call, just to be sure it was him. If you missed those
two hours and 15 minutes of the opening to the east coast on Saturday, you
missed any chance of making a decent score the contest. I made about 3/4 of my
309 contacts in those two hours. For a while, I had a pile-up on me that made me
feel like a rare country! But when that opening went away, it was like someone
flipped the propagation switch to OFF!
