Comments:
Caltech people are busy!
But we got two people on the air this weekend.
Saturday was a fun opening (~18Z to 21Z) with signals from as close as CO, as
far as NH, all of the eastern seaboard and many South Americans. V51YJ even
called in.
Thanks!
Sunday the band never quite woke up. It was good to pick up OR and WA; otherwise
it was the occasional FL and Caribbean. Pretty slow.
Nevertheless, it is fascinating to see how 10 meter conditions vary, even during
a solar minimum. And I get a kick out of pulling signals through as they surge
above and ebb below the noise flooor.
Thanks for the QSOs.
David, N6AN for CITARC (California Institute of Technology)
