Comments:
Rig here is a K3S driving an Ameritron AL-1500 Amp. Transmitting antenna is a
top-loaded 54 foot vertical with 60 full-size radials on the ground. Sometimes
used the vertical for receiving. Mostly used one of six Beverages (Europe, East,
West, South America, South Pacific, Japan). Haven't had much luck with diversity
reception using the transmitting antenna and a Beverage. This needs to be
explored further. Generally, conditions were quite good with low noise.
However, very few Europeans were heard. Learned some interesting new techniques
that will be used in the future.
