Comments:
Considering the stage of the sunspot cycle, conditions were really very good,
especially on Sunday. Operating from Nebraska, a fairly rare multiplier, was a
blessing and a curse. I assume the instant and insane pileups were caused
anytime someone spotted me (NE) on a cluster somewhere. Rates from 0 to 120 in
an instant, then gone 20 minutes later...only to resume over and over. Thought I
was pretty good hearing call signs through pileups until the advent of packet
cluster. Wow! Running 100W from an IC-7610, Optibeam OB16-3 up about 70 feet,
Butternut 40/80 vertical, N1MM Logger. Thanks to all for a great contest!
