Comments:
This was a typical CQ160 SSB for me. I had a couple of magic QSO's with
Europeans, with UA7K being my first zone 16 on phone. But I couldn't get
anything going to my west except for those stations with fantastic ears like
WD5COV.
The contest started great. I made 100 Q's in the first two hours. Then I had
to struggle for hours over the next two nights to simply match that number.
I look back at 2008, and still can't believe I made almost 500 QSO's in this
contest with 62 mults and scored 70,000. I've never come close to that since,
even with a better antenna. Thanks for all of the contacts.
