Comments:
This event was a blast for the first 12 hours or so. The RHR Eastport, Maine
station performed well again. There was enough propagation to keep things
entertaining.
Nice surprise to get a little SA on 10M late in the day. While hopeful for a
little more 15M, it wasn't to be. Managed a whopping two EU stations on 15 - two
more than in ARRL DX SSB, however.
Twenty meters was the money band as expected. 40M was so-so with disturbed
conditions and the low bands were solid. The 4 squares on 80/160 are great
performers.
I was receiving reports of bad keying on one radio - turned out it was operator
error. One of the computers in the shack was connected to a really crappy WiFi
network. After correcting the problem all was good again.
Fun to watch so many folks using the real-time scoreboard. RemoteHamRadio.com
continues to impress me. The crew there is outstanding.
